❤️ Why You’ll Love This Viagra Flowers Hack

  • It works! This 1999 study has all the details, but it’s always been successful when I’ve tested it at home.
  • Longer-Lasting Blooms: The study says flowers will last for up to a week longer than normal, but I’ve gotten my flowers to last for up to a month total.
  • Enhances Water Uptake: Viagra relaxes flower stems’ vessels, allowing water to better penetrate the stems and stay hydrated.

💐 Ingredients

  • Viagra: You can get four uses out of one pill.
  • Water: Fill the vase up about halfway with water.
  • Vase: Choose your favorite vase for your spring blooms.
  • Flowers: This Viagra flower trick works best for flowers with hollow stems, such as tulips, gerbera daisies, dahlias, and amaryllis. However, you can also try it with other flowers.

🥣 How to Make

Sprinkle a quarter of a Viagra pill in your vase water to keep your blooms standing tall for up to a month. It’s all about giving those stems the support they need to stay lively!

🪄 Tips and Tricks

  • How to Cut Flower Stems: Cut the stems underwater to help the flowers live longer. My video explains why this technique works.
  • Refill: Every two to three days, add fresh water on top. If the water is looking gross, pour it out and add more water and Viagra.

🗒 Substitutions

No Viagra on hand? No worries! Mix up a batch of DIY flower food. It’s like a health tonic for your plants, ensuring they stay fresh and fabulous without any harsh stuff.

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 quart of water

Mix the apple cider vinegar and water in a vase and dissolve the sugar in the mixture.

🤔 Common Questions

What pill makes flowers last longer?

When dissolved in water, Viagra can make cut flowers in a vase last longer and keep them from going limp.

Does Viagra work for flowers?

In 1999, researchers found that just one milligram of Viagra can extend the life of cut flowers by a week and prevent them from wilting. The science behind it is that “Viagra increases the vase life of flowers by retarding the breakdown of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP).”

Hollow stems in flowers like tulips and gerbera daisies stop siphoning water. Since Viagra is a vasodilator–meaning it dilates blood vessels–it keeps their vessels open, and the flowers keep taking in water, making them stand up straight and last longer!
