About Nicole Jaques
If running a house came with a salary, benefits, and PTO… we’d all be negotiating raises.
Hi, I’m Nicole Jaques and before I was the House CEO™, I was a little girl growing up surrounded by very opinionated, very capable adults who believed food, care, and home mattered.
My grandmother Ruth showed love by feeding people. A Southern at-home chef, she believed most problems could be solved with a hot pan, real butter, and gathering everyone at the table. She fried everything in sight, baked with a lot of sugar and a lot of heart, and taught me that cooking wasn’t about perfection it was about making people feel safe and loved.

My mom, Pam, took that same love and turned it into hosting. She was throwing elaborate, themed dinner parties long before Pinterest existed. Every detail mattered. Food was never just food it was an experience, a memory, a gift. Watching her taught me that creating a beautiful, thoughtful home is a form of care.
So even as a little girl, I learned this quietly powerful truth: home isn’t just where you live it’s how you take care of people, build foundations of love, and a safe place when everything else feels not-so-safe.
Fast forward to adulthood and motherhood with two kids, a full life, and more responsibility than anyone prepares you for. Suddenly I was the one feeding everyone, managing everything, and holding the emotional center of the house. I was “doing it all,” and from the outside it looked fine.
Inside? I was tired.
Not lazy tired.
Not unmotivated tired.
Burned-out tired.
Stay with me I give you what I did to fix this…
Ten years of low tox lifestyle
Around the time I became pregnant with my son, I started asking better questions. What I was cleaning with? What I was cooking with? What I was bringing into our home? Low-tox living didn’t start as a brand or a trend for me it started as a mom wanting to do better for her family.
Then my body forced me to go deeper.
An autoimmune diagnosis landed me in the ER and took the guesswork out of everything. When your health is the consequence, you don’t get to wing it. You don’t get trends. You learn what works and what doesn’t… very quickly.
But here’s what I refused to accept:
that wellness had to be stressful. Low tox living was “just too hard” or “didn’t work as well.”
I didn’t want a home that felt restrictive, joyless, or overwhelming. I didn’t want fear-based living or perfection. I wanted systems that removed tension: simple, realistic ways to support my body and my home without burning myself out.
So I built them.
I tested everything (third party) cleaners, cookware, air filters, water purifiers then food swaps and routines. I did then in real life, with kids, messes, budgets, and bad days. And once something actually worked, I shared it.
That’s how this community grew. Not because I had all the answers, but because I never stopped looking for them.
House CEO™ is the result of all of it:
the little girl watching strong women run a home with heart,
the mom learning to manage the invisible load,
and the woman living with autoimmune disease who needed wellness to actually work.
This is where low-tox living feels doable.
Where homes run on systems instead of stress.
Where you don’t have to do everything just the things that matter.
Running the home, but make it human.
Low tox, but make it realistic.
Wellness that supports your life, not runs it.
I’m so glad you’re here. Truly.
Now let’s make your house and lifestyle work for you.
