Turn your garments inside out.

Add 1/2 cup of table salt to a cold delicate wash cycle.

The salt should be placed directly in the main tub of the machine and not in a separate compartment.

Hang to dry.

Make two or three cups of black coffee. The darker the roast, the better!

Throw your faded dark clothing in the washing machine and begin a wash cycle.

Use cold water and without detergent.

As the washer starts to fill with water, throw the black coffee over your clothes.

Now let the rinse cycle complete.

Once it’s finished, begin a delicate wash cycle with cold water and detergent.

Hang to dry.
