DIY Powerwash

Looking for a homemade non tox powerwash? Look no further!
Prep: 5 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes
Total: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 11 oz of water
  • 2 oz of isopropyl alcohol
  • 3 oz of Dawn dish soap, or Castile soap as an eco-friendly alternative

Instructions

Combine Ingredients

  • Start by adding 11 oz of water to a clean spray bottle or container. Then, pour in 2 oz of isopropyl alcohol, which will help break down grime and disinfect the surfaces. Add 3 oz of Dawn dish soap or Castile soap for a gentle, yet effective cleaning agent.

Mix Thoroughly

  • Secure the spray bottle cap and give the mixture a good shake to combine all the ingredients. Make sure the soap is well-dissolved for even cleaning power.

Apply the Solution

  • Spray the solution generously onto the surface you want to clean, whether it’s your deck, patio, or outdoor furniture. Let it sit for a few minutes to allow the solution to break down dirt and grime.

Scrub and Rinse

  • For tougher stains or heavily soiled areas, use a soft brush or sponge to scrub the surface. After scrubbing, rinse the area thoroughly with water from a garden hose or a pressure washer on a low setting.
