Cleaning Silicone Baking Mats

Instructions 

Rinse Immediately After Use:

  • Wash the silicone mat with warm, soapy water to remove surface debris and grease. Use a soft sponge or cloth to gently scrub.

Deep Cleaning for Stubborn Residues:

  • Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda over the wet mat.
  • Use a soft sponge to scrub gently in circular motions.
  • Let the baking soda sit for 15-20 minutes to absorb grease and stains.

Rinse and Inspect:

  • Rinse the mat thoroughly with warm water and inspect for any lingering stains. Repeat the baking soda scrub if necessary.

Optional Freshening:

  • Add a few drops of lemon juice to your final rinse for a fresh, citrusy scent, especially after baking savory dishes.
