  • Fresh fruits: Grapes, Strawberries, Blueberries, or Sliced Apples
  • Nuts: Almonds, Walnuts, or Pistachios
  • Crackers or breadsticks
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs, for decoration and fragrance
  • Optional: Honey, fig jam, or mustard for dipping

Instructions 

  • Prepare the Surface: Choose a flat surface such as a cutting board or large serving platter for your caprese tree.
  • Create a Base: Lay out crackers or breadsticks at the base to form a triangular guide for the tree.
  • Layer the Tree: Begin layering cheeses and fruits in rows, creating a tree shape by tapering the rows as you move upward.
  • Fill in the Gaps: Use small items like nuts, berries, or smaller slices of cheese to fill in any empty spaces.
  • Add Decoration: Insert sprigs of fresh rosemary between layers to mimic evergreen branches and enhance the festive look.
  • Top It Off: Place a star-shaped cheese slice or decorative element, such as a festive ornament, at the top of the tree.
