This bone broth hot chocolate might sound a little wild, but if you know, you know. This cozy, gut-loving drink is my winter staple! Plus, my kids love it. 🧒 And, if you’re wondering, “Does it actually taste like chocolate?” The answer is “yes!”

Ingredients

  • ½ cup bone broth chicken or beef
  • ¼ cup full-fat coconut milk or whole milk
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ½ tablespoon maple syrup
  • Whipped cream or coconut whipped cream optional

Instructions

  • Add bone broth, milk, cocoa powder, and maple syrup to a small saucepan on medium-high heat. Whisk until combined,
  • Cover the pot and bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling, remove from the heat and pour into a mug. Let cool until drinkable. Top with whipped cream or coconut whipped cream if desired.
